NBA auction will offer some great items!

Basketballwear is an Amersfoort, The Netherlands based company who supplies the Dutch and Belgium market with all it’s needs for basketball products. A couple of weeks back they were approached by a collector who wanted to move away from his collection of 80’s, 90’s and 00’s NBA jersey’s. While Basketballwear normally doesn’t involve itself in products that are not new they did see it as a good oppertunity to introduce real fans with an oppertunity to get a hold of that one jersey of that forgotten player from a forgotten era. At the same time it’s a chance for collectors to add to their collection through this auction.

While there aren’t any great details available on the auctions yet the following details have been revealed so far.

Also it’s already known that the jersey’s will all be sold separately through auction site Ebay and all Jersey’s will start with a bid of €0,99 (excl. shipment) and all shirts will be available for worldwide bids. It’s also known  that the auction will start somewhere in August/September but a definitive date has not been chosen yet.

Up until this day we released a total of three photo’s (which you can see underneath this post).
While the idea is already labeled as a creative and fun way to become the owner of an NBA jersey and within the Netherlands this format is pretty new and unused so far. The biggest trouble (with an international crowd) is informing each and everyone with the latest information of the NBA auction when information comes available, therefor we created a mailinglist (for which you can sign up by clicking here) which we will use to inform all interested parties on new content, information and more regarding the NBA auction we are hosting.
